A wellness brand that shows its ingredients.
The Roasted Roots began as a nutritionist's practice. It needed to become a full wellness brand — one identity stretching across personalized diet plans, a roasted spice line, a website, and a voice that treats food as science and care at once.
Swati Patel builds personalized nutrition plans from real body-composition data — BMR, muscle mass, visceral fat, metabolic age — not generic diet advice. The Roasted Roots needed to carry that precision into an identity, while leaving room to grow into a product line of roasted spice blends under the same name.
The challenge was holding both halves — clinical rigor and warm, edible nourishment — in one visual system without either side flattening the other.
— The Roasted Roots, Brand Line
Science, timing, and heart.
The logo folds three ideas into one symbol — a half brain, half root form for the science and interconnectedness of health; a flask silhouette for measured, evidence-based method; and a heart for the care behind every plan.
- Brain / RootThe scientific foundation of nutrition, and how deeply our habits are entangled with our biology.
- FlaskTiming and consistency — the measured, methodical side of sustainable change.
- HeartThe nurturing, human impact of mindful eating on overall wellbeing.
One identity, several forms.
Roots to Wellness.
A positioning line that holds both the clinical nutrition practice and the roasted spice line under one growing brand.
A symbol, not a mascot.
Forest green, coral, and warm cream — a palette built to feel edible and clinical at once, applied to packaging, signage, and stationery.
A home for the practice.
theroastedroots.com — designed to carry both the personalized nutrition offering and the product line without either competing for attention.
Content with a concept.
Campaign concepts like "Hidden Code" — nutrition labels reframed as barcodes made of real ingredients — built for Instagram and Threads.
Forest green for the roots, coral for the warmth of nourishment, cream to keep it soft rather than clinical.
From product to practice.
Photography with texture.
The visual language leans on real, close-up food photography — nothing stylized past recognition — to match a brand built on real body-composition data rather than trend-chasing wellness aesthetics.
Live, and growing roots.
